Explanation Of Commonly Used Registration Options

How to register your module/receiver    


Registration status checking

After you connect device in CRU software, you can send below command to check current registration information.


Log reglist


Then you can get registration as following.




There are 3 registration status: open, close, expired date.

Open: It means this function is registered permanently.

Closed: It means this function doesn’t open and can’t work.

Expired date: It means this function is registered temporarily. This function can only work before this date.


Function registration


The specific format of the register code is like that:

To complete the registration process, please follow these steps:

  1. Connect your receiver or OEM board to your PC.

  2. Run the CRU software on your computer.

  3. You will receive a registration code from us.

  4. Input the registration code into your receiver or OEM board.

  5. Once the code is successfully sent, the registration process will be complete.


After finishing the registration, you should make a Reset to the receiver. Just send the command:

Reset

After reset the receiver, you should have a check using "log reglist" to see whether you receiver registered successfully or not.


Registration function explanation


Here is a list of registration options.



Generally, we only need to ensure that ZONEGLOBAL, ROVER, BASE, RAWMSG,HEADING and satellites signal are opened, and other functions remain default, and then device can be used with full functionality.

  • ZONEGLOBAL: This feature enables the device to function properly when used abroad. Failure to activate it may result in issues such as satellite search failure. Please note that the Chinese domestic version will not support ZONEGLOBAL activation for international use. We do not provide technical support for the Chinese domestic version when used abroad.

  • HEADING: Activating this feature allows you to control the heading function of your device. Without it, the device will not be able to perform heading-related operations.

  • ROVER: This feature controls the rover station functionality. Activation is necessary for the device to function as a rover station and get RTK fixed.

  • BASE: Activation of this feature is required to enable the base station functionality of your device. Without it, the device will not operate as a base station.

  • RAWMSG: This feature governs the recording of static data. Activating it allows your device to record static data, ensuring that observation data is available in the generated file.

  • GPSIGNAL: Enabling this feature enables the device to search for GPS satellites. Activation is necessary to allow the device to search for GPS satellites successfully.

  • GLOSIGNAL: Enabling this feature enables the device to search for GLONASS satellites. Activation is necessary to allow the device to search for GLONASS satellites successfully.

  • BDSSIGNAL: Enabling this feature enables the device to search for BDS satellites. Activation is necessary to allow the device to search for BDS satellites successfully.

  • BD3SIGNAL: Enabling this feature enables the device to search for BDS3 satellites. Activation is necessary to allow the device to search for BDS3 satellites successfully.

  • GALSIGNAL: Enabling this feature enables the device to search for GALILEO satellites. Activation is necessary to allow the device to search for GALILEO satellites successfully.

 

The maximum data rate as default is 10HZ, for higher rate output request, there needs register the corresponding 20HZ/50HZ/100HZ option.

  • 20HZOBS: This feature controls the data output rate and RTK calculation. Activation is required to allow the device to output data and perform RTK calculations at a rate of 20Hz.

  • 50HZOBS: This feature controls the data output rate and RTK calculation. Activation is required to allow the device to output data and perform RTK calculations at a rate of 50Hz.

  • 100HZOBS: This feature controls the data output rate and RTK calculation. Activation is required to allow the device to output data and perform RTK calculations at a rate of 100Hz.

 

ComNav’s products follow the export rule of limitation on high-speed, high-altitude using, the speed limits to 515m/s, and altitude limits to 18000m.


For options not mentioned above, will only be used seldomly and for niche applications, here do not give further description.
