Invited by CSNO, ComNav Attended China-Arab Cooperation Forum 2016

Shanghai, China, May 15, 2016-----From 9th to 10th May 2016, the China-Arab Cooperation Forum was held in Doha, Qatar, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between China and LAS (League of Arab States). As the world’s leading high precision GNSS manufacturer, as invited by CSNO (China Satellite Navigation Office) ComNav Technology Ltd attended this forum to showcase the latest innovations and achievements on the high precision GNSS technologies.

 

Before the forum the officers from CSNO want to check the performance of BeiDou in Qatar, and ComNav’s ultra small and light GNSS receiver T300 and the android software Survey Master 2016 (as it can just use an Android phone to configure the receiver) were chosen to make field testing due to the ease of use. The testing shows that in most time of the day the receiver could track 6-9 BeiDou satellites (contained GEO, IGSO and MEO) with the mask angel of 10 degree and maintain the same accuracy with GPS on the basis of single BeiDou constellation. It reveals that BeiDou constellation has already covered almost the whole Doha and can provide reliable PVT service to Qatar and other countries in LAS.
