Data link module introduction and configuration step by step

 

In this article, we will have a general introduction of SinoGNSS data link modules, and show detail steps on how to setup it during integration.

ComNav provides mainly two types of datalink modules, one is U50 series which can be compatible with other brands on the market, another one is U70 series which is special designed for longer working distance.

2.2 Read parameter
(method1)

No parameters of this command, Checksum=28 (refer to configuration command)

Reply: $$+SW+0x00+0x0A+Frequency+Switch+Protocol+PA+checksum+0x0D+0x0A.

Tips: All the command and reply in Black color (Frequency, Switch, PA, $$, SR) is ASICC format, not Hex format, all the command must use the Enter button to finish.

Custom Icon     3 Workflow of setup radio

Here use U70 data link module, to show how to setup TX and RX mode.
U70 data link modem has 3 main serial ports, which can be flexible used for Rx and Tx.
COM1, COM2, COM3 can all be used for Rx/Configurations
COM2, COM3 can be selected used for Radio Tx.
Command:
$$01set COM_X output//COM_X can be COM2, or COM3.
 
3.1 Connection
Here use U70 data link module, to show how to setup TX and RX mode. Here is one of the suggested connection types for GNSS module and radio module: GNSS COM3 is connected with U70 COM3.

3.2 Configuration
We take K803 as an example, to setup a Base station and Rover station.
3.2.1 For the Base

You can connect to COM1/COM2 to your PC or system, and send below commands:
